Insane
Clown Posse (ICP) : This rivalry is said to be longer than any of
Eminem's other disputes. It is said to have begun sometime
during 1995. Apparently, Marshall was handing out flyers to
a party where he would be performing and on the flyers it mentioned
that there might be an appearance by the Insane Clown Posse (ICP).
This is mentioned in ICP's latest diss to Eminem, Nothing But
A Bitch Thang: "I remember yo ass at St. Andrews hall handing
out yo flyers, 'come one come all come to my show'. I looked
at it WHAT right there, Insane Clown Posse might show up.
What the fuck kind of rapper could be that lame, only way you draw
people is to use our name, I could have just fucked you up right
there, but I let it pass, I felt bad for ya bitch ass." One
of the members of ICP saw this and told Em to Fuck Off. This
must have started the whole rivalry and since then both parties
have exchanged disses back and forth in their songs.
A
little background on the crew. The Insane Clown Posse is made
up of two members, Joseph Bruce aka Violent J and Joseph Ulster
aka Shaggy 2 Dope. This duo originated in South West Detroit.
It began as a gang called the "Inner City Posse" (ICP) and originated
into a rap group called the "Insane Clown Posse." They have
released five albums to date and are in the process of finishing
up their sixth.
Since
the little fight at St. Andrew's hall, many rumours have been going
around. Apparently, Eminem saw ICP at a club one night, and
he and the D-12 (The Dirty Dozen) chased them out and then shot
their van up with a paintball gun. This is briefly mentioned
in Nothing But A Bitch Thang, when ICP denies it: "you ain't
never chased us out of no club bitch... only club you ever chased
anybody out of was a gay bar bitch."
After
Eminem made this embarassing night public in his lyrics, ICP, with
the help of Twiztid, released a remix of Eminem popular hit My
Name Is, from the Slim Shady LP, called Slim Anus, over
the radio during their interview with Howard Stern. Eminem was said
to have cried over this, but we're sure that's just a rumour made
up by some ICP "juggalo" (fan).
In
Eminem's new cd, The Marshall Mathers LP, he seems to get
a lot harder on the ICP. He answers back with even more severe
and obvious lyrics. For instance, in track 11, Marshall
Mathers, he says "I think I was put here to annoy the world
and destroy your little 4-year-old boy or girl. Plus I was
put here to put fear in faggots who spray Faygo Root Beer and call
themselves "Clowns" cause they look queer. Faggot 2 Dope and
Silent Gay, Claimin Detroit, when y'all live twenty miles away (fuckin
punks). And I don't wrestle, I'll knock you fuckin faggots
the fuck out, Ask 'em about the club they was at when they snuck
out after they ducked out the back when they saw us and bugged out,
(AHHH!) Ducked down and got paintballs shot at they're truck, blaow!
Look at y'all runnin your mouth again, when you ain't seen a fuckin
Mile Road, South of 10. And I don't need help, from D-12,
to beat up two females in make-up, who may try to scratch me with
Lee Nails. "Slim Anus," you damn right, Slim Anus, cause I
don't get fucked in mine like you two little flaming faggots".
Also, there is a skit in The Marshall
Mathers LP called Ken
Kaniff, track 12, where Violent J and Shaggy 2 Dope are
sucking Ken Kaniffs dick. Take a listen, its funny as hell.
As
mentioned, Insane Clown Posse's latest Eminem diss is entitled Nothing
But A Bitch Thang, and it is not just a remix of one of Eminem's
songs like Slim Anus was, it is actually original.
They were going to release on the album but decided not to because
they were "worried that Eminem would have fallen off the map by
then, and people wouldn't get the joke." Check out the official
