D-12 (Dirty Dozen)

The D-12, also known as the Dirty Dozen, is Eminem's current group that he's been with since he was a child in Detroit. The group came to pass after a road trip back from New York to Detroit. It was all started by Buggs as he said he wanted to start this concept called the Dirty Dozen, where they all have alter egos. The crew consists of:- Slim Shady, Eminem. Then you got Dirty Harry, Big Proof. That's two/ four people. The Con Artist, Denine Porter (The producer), The idiotic Bizarre, Peter S. Bizarre, Swift or Swifty McVeigh and finally Conniver, Von. Eminem was the last to come up with an alias, he came up with his alter-ego 'Slim Shady' while taking a shit, he then went out and got a tattoo to represent.

They all came together by the time that Eminem had finished his solo EP "Infinite". Soon they started recording songs on 8 track in Eminem's basement. The Dirty Dozen got out of their previous contract with Re-AL Entertainment to sign with newly discovered "Shady Redords" after Eminem blew up with his first major release "The Slim Shady LP". Their first album should be released sometime in the Spring of 2001 and should definitely be like nothing ever heard before.
.
The group have done well to stay together, they lost their founder member Buggs last year. He sprayed some water on a girl and these two men came back for revenge. They shot him twice in the face then ran him over.

Their style is sick, literally, and based on the underground. Anyone that's heard the group knows that they are definitely different from anything that's out right now. They have tracks set to group on collaboration efforts soon. The track "Get Back" will be on Tony Touch's new LP, they will be featured on Ruckus' new Soundbombin' 3 collaboration, and they are featured on the 'Marshall Mathers LP' on the songs 'Amityville' and 'Under The Influence'. They are also cameo on the video for 'The Real Slim Shady'.
